The last day of the year

What I really enjoyed about school is that I played with my friends having fun playing with my teachers and having a really really cool time. The best activity I did was camp, basketball and   golf because they all had very cool times there. Like the time we had our camp group mansion, made it all the way to the pontoon and back with style and a human motor.

The first term wasn't really good for me because I would play games when I wasn't allowed to get smart to people and not be a good friend. But term two my attitude started changing I started getting less doggie and more working and I was a very cool friend to everyone. I really enjoyed having Mr S as my teacher because he always made us all laugh.

Im going to miss my netbook and my teachers and my friends cause most of them are leaving. Merry christmas to everyone in the world happy new years I hope yous have a awesome holiday merry xmas and a happy new year.

Camp Bentzon/Kawau Island 2014

Have you ever jumped off a wharf that is bigger then the largest teacher in you school I did the year 6 students went to Kawau Island/Camp Bentzon we did amazing things there. We did kayaking, sailing and also climbing up a gigantic wall and having the most beautiful view you have ever seen.

It was amazing camp held by Peter and Ernie and an amazing experience for me and the year sixes. Thanks heaps parent especially Andy for being or little spy and helping us. I cant wait for the year 8 camp where we have another amazing camp. Thanks again parent helper it was a really cool and amazing experience.

Kawau Island/Camp Benton writing

Tuesday 7:00 the year 6 students went to catch the bus to sandspit the bus took 1 and half hour but it was worth it. We waited almost an hour for the ferry to be here as we waited we went to the park and had a little play there. Me and my friends were hogging the swing until miss garden said “Ok grab your bags we going on the ferry that leads to kawau island. 15 minutes past and we still had 10 left till we got to kawau island as we went we saw dolphins only 12 or more. 10 minutes past and we were already walking on the beautiful island camp bentzon/kawau island.

The first day at about 12:00 in the afternoon we went for I think and hour hike up all the way a mountain Aka killer mountain, it was really terrifying because it felt like i was going to fall down on to a rock and brake a leg or an arm.  Now this is the worst part we went all the way up and down a steep hill but all the hills we went down on we had to go up and it was so terrifying but anyway will still made it all the way back to camp with no body dying and me and my friends kicked back and relaxed.

On Wednesday we did all the activities that involved water first of all we had to clean the kitchen which really sucked because It was really large but we finished in 2 minutes. Our first activity was kayaking when we had to kayak all the way to the other side of the camp Benton. We also went to other places but for me it was hard because I have never ever kayaked so far before. The best water one was sailing because I knew how to sail and optimums I have sailed an optimums heaps of times then we dried off and apparently went for a refreshing swim in the water and me and my friends jumping off the pontoon.

“Me I want to go first”, I said wanting to go first on the confidence course mr J replied, “Ok you're up Toma”, As I put my safety gear on Mr J told us to when we were up the top, “Hug your mama when you get to the top”, I did  It was really easy getting up and down cause I am light and a monkey. After that we went on the real confidence course it self I don't know how much tires but I got past it like nothing in a blink of an eye and I was finished me and john lee are very good climbers and not good at swimming. Abe sailing was very easy because It was just like rock climbing but not really because I got and ultimate wedge one I came down but i'm lucky I never did that again.

Friday the last day of camp we did competition the first thing we did was touch mansion B was my group and Kawau A it was really hard because we did not even know how to play touch like Mr S did first half Kawau got a point then the second half we got two points and ended up winning. Next we did bush baseball we also won that then the next thing we did was volley ball we also won that It was like or lucky day then we cooled off and we went for a swim then we all got ready to go back to school. Packing all the bags to the fairy and taking them off and also loading them back onto the but which we slept on and It also felt like we were dying. Once we got back to pt england school I put my bags into my new car that we got and me jumping on the shower and having a long nap in my bed. That was the best camp I have ever been on.

The Hate Brothers

Four years later tory was learning to play guitar at nine teen then wanting to be a amazing musician so he practiced for years and years until he turned into the best musician boy and  everyone started to call him, “Sir Tory Sir Troy, “They all adore you Sir Troy, “I know do they and please call me Troy”, “With pleasure.” Rach hated even more that one night Rach sneak into Troys Mansion and killed and that night Rach forgives everything that happened when they were small.

The Story Of Steve And Enderman Best Friends For Life

“Ow Ow”, Said Steve Falling Into a tub of lava. “My feet are burnt”, Said Enderman, “because you are half ghost and half human and you are always relaxed”, Screamed Steve. “That is why you are my best friend hahahaha.” Keep laughing”, replied Steve, “I'm gonna get you for this”, Steve said again.

So night Steve set up a trap water,fire and lava all mended and poured together. Once Enderman 
woke up Steve pulled the lever and boom,smash,crash and Enderman blow up and disappeared into the darkness. That day Stevewas sad for the rest of his life with no friends.

But the next two weeks Enderman came back and Steve was very very happy that he came back but Enderman was dying. So Steve got embalmed and cobble stone and Enderman came back and was healthy then ever. Steve and Enderman were happy and they had their own wives and they lived happily ever after with their family. The End

How To Be A Good Person

Do you want to be successful In life? Im going to tell you how to be a good/successful Pt Englander? You have to always show respect to your teacher, finishing your work when your teacher wants it finished and also being a good and helpful person.

Paragraph 2: Show respect to your teachers is very important because if you don't you won't know what to do.  Show respect to your teacher means to listen to the teacher and being kind to your teacher. Sometimes boys/girls don't show respect to their teacher and the teacher sometimes get angry. Kids don't like looking at angry teacher sometimes people find it really annoying that a girl/boy does not show respect to the teacher.

Paragraph 3:Finishing your work when your teacher wants you to is sometimes hard for kids and sometimes easy for kids. Finishing off your work you have to listen to the teacher and read the text in the book to get some information. For my class we have to write in a text box which makes it easier and for my class and friends.

Paragraph 4:Being a helpful boy/girl Is very important because the teacher will know that you are a good/successfully Pt Englander and can succeed in life. Being good if sometimes hard for me and I can't show respect sometimes.Being A Good Boy means to Show Respect,Finishing Your Work and you can be a Good Boy and Successful In life and Strive To Succeed

The Fight Of The Century Good Vs Evil, Necrolis Vs Revantor

The fierce rivals battle Necrolis and Revantor evil vs good boom,crash,thawk!!! They were fighting in the cage is was half fire half water. Befor this all started they were best friends as they grow up they started showing off. Necrolis started turning into a monster and Revantor turned into a zombie monster.

As the best friend thought grunting in pain Necrolis remembered his best friends saying. When x2


walk tall when x2 stand tall and he said Necrolis do your best. Whenever he hears those words he gets stronger by the second.Every minute he gets angry and he starts turning into a fire monster.

Revantor the zombie monster running around in the cage trying to figure out a vicious attack to smash his best friend to the ground. Then Necrolis began an attack a fire punch to the face and a knee to the face boom. Everyone was cheering Necrolis,Nerolis as they were chatting for good to win.

Necrolis didn't want to fight him but he had to if he wanted evil to never come back again but say in dungeons were the good is. “You will never beat me”. Weakly said Revantor, “I beat I can”, Replied Necrolis demonly. Chuckling Necrolis with one big upeel cut Revantor dies and disappears with dust Necrolis wins and evil loses.

In the end Necrolis went to free the good and evil left their kingdom and good ruled again. After that the world was a better place. When evil weeping for food and water all they had was mud and pigs. But they didn't know how to kill pigs so they left them run around and being free.

How To Read Wood/Wood Partners

My reading group read a book called how to read wood/wood partners if the wood has lines and little gaps In It you know it has been growing well. But if it was big gaps that means it had a bad year and it has hardly been growing.

Kia Ora my name Is Toma and I am a year six boy me and my literacy class learnt how to read Wood and Wood Partners. My group the Pohutukawa learnt that If you cut a layer up top of each other means that It will have the same layer on the bottom as well. If trees don't get enough sun the can sometimes feel left out so It can sometimes always get 4 hours of sun. A tree can be smart and take there leaves of so that  can always get sun. I thought that It was just a coincides but no It wasn't It Is was God created

Reading Maps

Our literacy class is learning how to read maps and a saying for NESW N stands for North,E stands for East,S stands for South and W stands for West. The saying for this is Never Eat Soggy Weet-bix.

More people get sunburned on their face and neck than any other part of the body.Trucker Hats are not go for you because there are little holes at the back and it can go throw the hat wavelengths.The best hats arte bucket hats because they cover your eyes,ears,nose,ears and cheeks.

WRAP on a pair of wrap-around sunglasses UV radiation which stand for ultraviolet radiation is just as dangerous to eyesight as it is for the skin. Radiation in the part of the electromagnetic spectrum where wavelengths are just shorter than those of ordinary, visible violet light but longer than those of x-rays.

Slip,Slop,Slap AND WRAP is very important to my family because me and my family don't get skin cancer and we can keep safe.Remember Slip,Slop,Slap and Wrap to keep safe in the sun and not get skin cancer.

The Best Holiday I Have Ever Had

“AHHHHHH”, have you ever seen a big rat that just wanders into your house or fell on a gate on your rib, “OWWWWW.” I have did and seen both it was scary but at the same to saw it was boring having a rat in our house i hope you enjoy my holiday vamonos.

P1.One normal sunny day i was walking around in my backyard looking at the fence thinking to my selfe, “Should i run on it Hmmmm.” It was a bit dangerous because next door had spikes but i don't mind i was good at climbing and baling my nickname at home is The Monkey Man it is a cool name if you ask my family. I balanced on the gate i was going to run but i had to be a pro until shrink, “AHHHHHHH” I fell on my rib and we had my favourite dinner tacos and i could not eat it it was boring i could only sleep or watch.

P2.My family were watching movies on our netbook pluging it into out tv the first awesome movie we watched was hercules. I won't ruin it but the movie hercules my favorite part is when he destroy the wolves that was kerbuces. After that we watched TMNT short for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle is cool in hd my favourite part is when they are in the elevator beat boxing and making a beat it was funny.

P3.Just as my brother walked into our house he noticed that the back door was open it was wide open so we closed the door. But as we walk into the sitting room we see a big fat rat jumping all of the bed jumping in an unusual way like it was having a serger but it was joking and got out. Jumping into the shoe box it got away it still wonders around our house today but we called a professional exterminator and it brang pills with poison in it the rat zilla is dying which is sad we want it to run out in the wild.

P4.Happy birthday Tumanko we sang his song happy birthday to you we sang he was a bit scared we all gave him our cards my card was the best card. After that we went to have some cupcakes and cake like always i would always get filled up with cake and cupcakes. After that we went outside to play touch and rugby we have a big backyard. After that it was getting dark so our whole family had dessert and we all jumped in bed watching movies on our own acer netbooks.

P5. Bam!! we went outside to play i best outside game with a bat there is hit and roll or just call it bat down, you play the game with a normal bat and a ball then you wait for the ball to come close to the bat and then whack!! Then the person with the ball has to roll it if you're far you can teleport it so you can go close. Two steps tick tock if it is 5 steps stand if it is more than 10 steps roll that is how you play bat down. Our family like bat down we don't like cricket our family says, “Cricket is last year but down is today”, An that is why we like bat down.

P6.On the last day of the holidays my favourite oldies brother came back he is my favourite oldest brother came back it is cool with him but again my brother was in trouble in the holidays again. He came back and we were so excited when he came back because we wanted to see what he could do with a bat. So we came outside with him and he bat first and it went far we kept playing until dinner and then we watched another movie but the were boring movies. But  I was just happy that my brother was here so my family was together again.

P7.This holiday was the most funniest,scariest,horrifying,Interesting and most awesomest holiday i have ever been on. What i liked was that it was interesting because i didn’t tell you in the story but the rat mad little baby rats and it jumps all over us when we are asleep. Im going to figure out why the ratzilla jumps on us when we are asleep.

The Best Trip Ever

On Thursday the 18th we went to the fabulous museum it was raining but we didn't mind because the museum was inside. It was cool and awesome there we were lucky because after that day it was the weekend. We first had to eat a morning tea outside it took us 1 hour or more to get there.

Once we got inside we had to put our bags in the cupboard and we were just chilling and waiting for the tour lady to say good morning. She told us the rules the number one rule was to not run the second rule was to use or inside voices and. The last rule was to not run into stuff or else it would break and we would have to pay for it.

After we went on a little tour it was very amazing we saw was polar bears look like when they were very little they were very cute. Then we saw Antarctic room it was a bit like motat but just better and more funnier. We also went into the volcano it would shake and rumble until you heard a big crash and then it would finish.

Me and my friend Peteli got locked out of the volcano move so when they were in there we would pretend to be and statute and people would get frightened. We went of and we saw a mummy and a real mummy case it looked like it could just pop out. At the end we went to have some lunch then we went into a Marie

FACE FREEZE DUN DUN DUN!!

“Once there was one man and one talking banana they loved to make funny faces they were both best friends they both like sushi and chocolate. But one day the made a funny face for the 444th time and there face froze. He could not move his face again until there tongue went dry and fell of.”

Mr Rum was telling his employees to never poke a face again or else it would freeze, “OH NO” screamed Dud, “I don't want my face to freeze like that myth. “Neither do I” yelled Richard they were both terrified to ever pull a face again. Work was finish and they were walking home his friend was smiling, “Don't smile that is making a face”, Dud shouted.

They were going all fine until they were sweating, “How are you going Richard”, He said scared, “Im going really wonderful”, Richard replied. They were sweating so hard that Dud decided to pull a funny face and they both laughed then Richard pulled a face they kept making faces. They looked in the mirror and there face was not frozen.

They decided to put it to the test Richard said, “I will hang my tongue down nose pointy and ears as big as monkey”, Mumbled Richard, “Ok I will hang my ears down low big mouth and the finishing touch tongue sticking down. They shared their faces to the whole world and it became dark so they went to bed.



The next day they woke up they had the myth called face freeze they were scared so the went to handy's house to get fixed. She told them to relax and enjoy the message her but he failed to do it. When he went to work his boss asked him, "face me when I talking to you boyo", When he faced Mr Rum got angry and made a funny face and his face was friezed and that is the story of face freeze

“NO,NO,NO” shouted Fitel stinksten, “don’t cook my pancakes burnt”, he said again shouting, “WHY ARE YOU BEING SUCH A BIG BABY!!!”, replied Range Hamon, “Cause I can you got a problem with that you say it to my face”, “OK I WILL THEN”, argued Range Haom, “YOU ARE A BIG FAT BABY THAT DESERVES TO DO HIS OWN STUFF ON HIS OWN”, shouted Range, “FINE THEN I DON’T LIKE YOU!!!!!”

My name is Range last name Haom I come from somewhere up west anyway my best friend and me were having an argument about pancakes which was weird. But after the argument he walked out and we heard a big bang we were scared. We found his dead body we watched the blood come out crying and hoping this was a prank but it was not.

I saw red and blue flashy lights outside, “What happened to him”, yelled the police on the speakers, “You are so close to me do you really have to shout when i'm right in front of you.”, Range shouted, “Sorry miss”, Whispered the police, “IM NOT A GIRL JUST BECAUSE I HAVE LONG HAIR”, Range Shouted in the speaker snatching the speaker off the police man, “PIGS THESE DAYS”, Range Laughed.”

THE DANCING HORROR

As we walked through the town of the shadow we saw a black figure dancing and then It was one big monster forming to eat it was very scary for the two of us. “Oh no I am not going in there, Bonjaba saying horrifying, “Not even for a donut”, Range replied, “Ok”, Bonjaba wishpeard. “Why are you whispering”,Range whispeard to Bonjaba, “Because the monster is standing behind you”, “Uh oh.”

“RUN”, Range shouted, we ran and ran and ran to lose the monster, “We lost him”, Range said softly, “Lost who” Bonjaba said stupidly, we were hiding in a place where he would never him. “I took my socks off because they had holes in them”,That whole time we were being watch by the monster the whole time.

Toma Narrative Writing

Once there was a fat guy called Steven(Mr Dumb) and a small boy called Tevita(Mr Nose Picker) and Toma(Mr Smart). They were all best friends they were going for a trip to samoa. “I cant wait to go to samoa” said Tevita “I can I don't like samoa” said Steven. “I wanna go” said Toma.

Two days later they arrived to samoa and Tevita,Steven and Toma were delighted but surprised to see no monkeys. “Stink no monkeys means going home” said Steven. “No see right there” said Tevita they saw the biggest fattest hairiest monkey they have ever seen. “Hi fat monkey”, said Steven stupidly and the monkey slap Steven and Steven began to cry.

Then the monkey went on a rampage it turned into a small gorilla into a massive gorilla like king kong. But it was all according to plan that is what he needed to kill Toma. The monkey ran into the jungle and Tevita and Toma ran to go see where it was going, “Where is it going “ said Toma “I don't know don't ask me i'm stupid hahaha” said Tevita “Oh my gosh” said Toma. Lebron use to play for the Miami Heats but now he is going back to the team he was drafted in with Kevin love who use to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

How To Catch A Bus In Samoa Tofa Soifua

I have created a movie about Samoa with my reading group. The focus of our movie was to find the Differences and Similarities between Samoa and New Zealand. Samoa is a little bit different to New Zealand because if you are in New Zealand you can wait in a bus stop but if you are in samoa you just wait outside your house. Some other things that are different to New Zealand are, if you go to the bus you pay after you hop off the bus, and if the seats are full you can sit next to the driver. But you have to hold on tight because there isn't a door and you might fall out! Or else you can sit on someones lap you don't know! Weird 
eh?!

Differences: 1.Samoan busses are colourful and awesome 2.Samoans have to pay after they get off the bus 3.Their buses have a car like shape and New Zealand ones are like a big rectangle. 

Similarities: 1.You have to wave your hand out to get the bus driver’s attention 2.You have to wait to catch the bus in Samoa and New Zealand 3.You have to pay on both of the busses

Do you know why yesterday was so special well because It was the 100th anniversary of the first ever world war 1. Where hundreds and millions of people died to save New Zealand or else we would not even be able to talk. English and all of this started off when a man shot a king called George V and his wife Sophie and that shot was called the shot that echoed around the world,and that is how it all started. 1800 kiwis came back the war finished in 1918. But sadly some kiwis died 16 million kiwis died so now you know how world war 1 all started.

Toma's Marathon Research

The name marathon comes from the legend of Pheidippides,a Greek messenger The legend states that he was sent from the battlefield of Marathon to Athens to announce that the Persians had been defeated in the Battle of Marathon (in which he had just fought), which took place in August or September, 490 BC. It is said that he ran the entire distance without stopping and burst into the assembly.

The International Olympic Committee agreed in 1907 that the distance for the 1908 London Olympic marathon would be about 25 miles or 40 kilometres. The organisers decided on a course of 26 miles from the start at Windsor Castle to the royal entrance to the White City Stadium, followed by a lap (586 yards, 2 feet; 536 miles) of the track, finishing in front of the Royal Box. The course was later altered to use a different entrance to the stadium, followed by a partial lap of 385 yards to the same finish

The first ever marathon was in 1896 the distance (km) 40 and another distance (miles) 24.85.

Toma Holiday

On saturday I woke up an exciting day awaited me it was my brothers 15th birthday Toko and he went to a place called te hapua. So we had time to write birthday cards and also make a delicious cake. It was a funday because our mum gave us a piece and it was yum but it had no cream stink.

My mum and My big sister te puawai made the triple chocolate cake it looked delicious. It also smelt delicious but we first had breakfast coco rocks it was yum after that we went for a walk to see our eels there were lots of them. But were not even bothered to feed them because we were going for a walk the whole basin it was cool.

That next day our papa has invited us to a big feed with fish lamb and other meat. But i was not interested in the meat i wanted the mash potato and the potato salad it was nicer then the meat.When we were done we picked up our sister and we took her home but we were still one short it was our older brother Toko.

The next Night It was almost night and my brother was still not home until we heard what my auntie on the phone say (we got no car it is not starting) .Vorm vorm said the car and It stopped. When we heard It we were so terrified that he would not come home. It was stink because we could not eat the cake before he came my mouth was watery but I was also sad.

About 3 or 2 i don't how much know hours later I saw a car it was Toko when he came back I was so happy that he was here because my whole family was back it felt weird without him. But I could not wait until my mum said we will have tomorrow when he is not here it was stink i could not stop thinking of it. So i had a little bit of it and my mum didn't care it was good.

This holiday was cool it was like christmas all over again but cooler it was more like my birthday,happy new years and also christmas. I liked this holiday i hope the next one is like this one but i don't think it will be cooler lets see The En

Toma My Book Reveiw

This book is about a boy called big Nate and he believes he will surpass all other softball team. He also believes he can lead his team to victories!!! .But it won't be easy because hes stuck with Gina,his all time enemy,who might just ruin everything!

I like this book because he was suppose to tip egg salad and milk on Gina to make her smell bad but he put it on the girl he liked and her name was jenny.One thing I don't like about this book is that when Gina annoys big Nate about her little kitten and makes him miss a strike.The one embarrassing part is when Nate comes out of the shower and Gina is inside and turns around and sees his bottom.

I would prefer this book for anyone because its mostly a boy book and some of it is girl y.

It is mostly for boys because big Nate is a boy and most of it is boys in the book and all of his other books.This book is so cool because it says you can draw your self in side the book and also do a maze. THE END

My Holiday

HAVE YOU EVER HAD SHERBET POWDER BEFORE? or have had a HOMEMADE MARS BAR SLICE they are both delicious.

On Friday Me and my family went to the creek in panmure and we feed the eels with rotten  meat and they were starving.Then after that my mum was playing a game she had to tag us with a blindfold on but she could hear us because the leaves sounded loud.After that I went and jumped in the middle of the creek and touched an eel and then we went home and I tired.

Then on the next day I woke and I was excited because I wanted to play my favourite game spyro year of the dragon 3 it is the best ps2 game in the world. Well I was playing it my mum was making a  mars bar slice for lunch I was excited for that as well.3 hours later it was lunch we had shrimp noodles they are chilly to cool it down we had a drink of water.After we had eaten or  chilly noodles we had our mom's homemade mars bar slice it was delicious then soon after I fell asleep.

The next day My mum made sherbet powder it is sour and so yum I was the first one to have it.After that we went for another walk to the creek and it was so cool because I grabbed on and there were way more but I caught a small. Then at dinner we had nutella toast,Milo,Choc malt nutrigrains and a cold coca then I went to sleep and woke up and it was the first day of term 2 THE END!
